Since 2001 this naturally mild blend has also been available
as organic coffee. It has been grown without the use of
fertilizers and pesticides, certified by the Institut Lancon.

Transfair Kaffee
Since 1993 J.J. Darboven has been carrying Transfair coffees.
They are sourced directly from small family farms in the
coffee growing regions without the use of middlemen. The
TransFair e.V. Association always
guarantees a minimum price for the harvest.
TransFair coffee is considered high-grade coffee because
small farmers who solely depend on coffee growing usually
take the best care of their plantations. Darboven’s TransFair
Kaffee only uses the finest highland green coffees.
TransFair Kaffee is also available from certified organic
plantations, which steer clear of all chemical fertilizers
and pesticides.
Both TransFair blends are roasted in a special Darboven
process, enriching their flavor and aroma.
